The Story

Erin Flett is a textile designer hand printing and sewing all her original prints and colors in Gorham, Maine. Welcome to the world of Erin Flett! Hand drawn designs on pillows, bags, table top goods and most recently wallpaper. She also works for the TRADE INDUSTRY designing custom patterns for hotels and commercial and interior design projects. Her largest Hotel project she recently completed was for a new Hotel for Catalina Island Resort in California. All of her patterns are hand printed and sewn in   Maine. Her cotton bark cloth and canvas fabrics are woven for her in South Carolina and her linens woven in Belgium or Ukraine. She is one of the only lifestyle companies producing her own line of textiles from start to finish. She believes in locally made craftsmanship and quality and is passionate about the process of making and designing things that bring joy to your everyday.

Erin has been featured in over 90 National and International magazines over the last 10 years. She was named top ten textile designers to watch from Apartment Therapy when she first started, and had a full page profile write up in O Mag only two years after she started silk screening her designs in her basement. She graced the cover of the infamous STYLE MAKER  issue  of Better Homes & Garden Magazine 2016 with her 6 page feature. She also has received numerous design awards and has been published in many design publications, showcasing her distinctive hand. Her latest adventure she has renovated an old 4000 sf theatre building on Main Street in Gorham, Maine where she now has her first time ever retail / showroom, design and production all in one place.

Erin's vision is to grow her business large enough to leave a design legacy where her designs continue to be shared with people bringing them joy forever. Her enthusiasm and passion is contagious. People feel it in everything she touches. After people discover her, they keep coming back each season to see what she comes up with next for themselves or for their home. Erin says, "COLOR + PATTERN + JOY is timeless. Your home or what you collect becomes apart of your story. Buying something practical like a bag or something that is not only comfortable but can brighten your space with pattern and color made locally makes you feel good." Erin believes we have an opportunity, a decision  each day to support local businesses that are doing a small part in our communities to make a huge impact.  Erin is not slowing down and has huge aspirations to become the next Marimekko or Vera Neumann of her time.
