THE YELLOW FIELD
The Yellow Field is a historic 10.7-acre farm in Gorham, Maine, anchored by a classic white clapboard farmhouse dating back to 1774 and massive old barns wrapped in gray, weathered cedar shakes. These antique buildings wear their years with grace, their imperfections and worn edges adding to the farm’s character and charm. They stand as testaments to resilience and long-standing history, carrying the stories of generations past.
When we purchased the farm, our vision was to honor that history and slowly bring her back to her glory — not by erasing her age, but by embracing it. The old orchard, worn white horse fences, and open fields frame this timeless New England landscape, where we now serve as stewards of the land and caretakers of her enduring beauty.
With curated wedding packages — The Meadow, The Hydrangea, and The Boxwood — couples can choose between simple elegance and fully customized celebrations infused with Erin Flett’s hand-drawn textiles and artistic details. The Yellow Field is where history, creativity, and community come together, offering a one-of-a-kind backdrop for life’s most meaningful gatherings.
